In April, 2021, Blue Sky Measurements was awarded a $499,500 ARPA-E SBIR grant to further develop the companies’ methane emissions measurement technology. The Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) is an organization within the Department of Energy (DOE) that funds transformational applied research related to energy independence, energy efficiency and reduction of energy related emissions. Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) programs fund American-owned small businesses involved in research related to critical American priorities.
In addition to the financial funding, the grant program provides valuable guidance and support from the highly experienced ARPA-E technical team. Blue Sky Measurements is extremely proud to be an ARPA-E SBIR grant recipient and grateful for the support in developing technologies for a better environment.
